About Our Owner
Eric Kucia is the founder and owner of 809 Design, established in 2003. Creative, energetic, and relentlessly detail-driven, Eric is deeply hands-on—moving seamlessly between design thinking, fabrication, and on-site installs. He thrives on challenges, loves solving problems in real time, and is known for spotting details others miss. Clients value working directly with Eric for his straightforward approach, fast decision-making, and commitment to getting every project exactly right. He lives with his wife, Sharon, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
